Recommended step’s to becoming more Organizationally Effective

  • Create a Strategic Plan of Action for your job and career
  • Become a Consultant - Treat the people you work with more like clients
  • Look at your Leadership Development Skills– Enhance and develop leadership skills where needed
  • Improve your Customer Service Skills – Create a customer service credo for yourself, your department and your organization
  • Work on Change Management – Understand how you react to change and how you can help navigate change within your organization
  • Self- Assessment – Understand how you are perceived by others – complete a 360 degree  assessment with others (Co-workers & subordinates, boss & senior leaders, clients & customers, vendors & the community – continue to do the things you do well - work on areas of development)
  • Improve your Communication Skills – Improve your Listening Skills and your skills for Giving and Receiving Constructive Feedback – Know& hear the message(s) you are sending out in the workplace
