RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RECEIVING

CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK

 

 

·        Focus on the content and not the person,

 

·        Look at the person directly, do not get distracted by things around you,

 

·        Listen calmly and attentively,

 

·        Clarify the feedback, ask questions,

 

·        Acknowledge the other person’s concerns,

 

·        Avoid defending or over explaining, just listen,

 

·        Write down what you heard,

 

·        Welcome Suggestions,

 

·        Take some time to think about what you heard before you respond back,
